Effect Description:
None → The owner gains +5 nation magic storage Once per session, one of the following abilities can be activated for its listed cost: Reality Shift: (8 nation magic) Create a portal on this wonder, and another within your diplomacy range. You may increase the distance by 1 at the cost of increasing the base cost of the portal by 1. This portal costs 1 nation magic for every 10 tiles of distance (rounded up) in order to upkeep – needed to be paid at least once. Reality Rift: (10 nation magic) The owner may perform a DC 10 magic mech RP in order to automatically succeed at casting the pact spell. Rather than a traditional pact spell, the benevolence roll will be public and use a d100, with 1 being the worst possible outcome, and 100 being the best. A specific entity can be targeted by increasing the DC of the check by 10. For RP purposes, this pact opens a portal to said entity's dimension. Reality Anomaly: (15 nation magic) Upon using this ability, a d20 is rolled using this table to decide the length and danger of the expedition: 1-3: Minor Risk / Minor Rewards / 1d2 successful mech rp’s 4-11: Moderate Risk / Moderate Rewards / 1d4 + 2 successful mech rp’s 12-18: Great Risk / Great Rewards / 1d6 + 4 successful mech rp’s 19-20: Extreme Risk / Extreme Rewards / 1d10 + 6 successful mech rp’s For the duration of the expedition, one pop must be used to investigate the pocket dimension, and 1 magic upkeep needs to be paid each session. While the expedition is maintained, the owner and nations or characters within their diplomatic range can use mech RPs to progress the expedition. Exact details for what each expedition entails, including the DC, rewards, and penalties for failure are up to the RP mod.
